Bodywork is not meant to replace regular veterinary care, nor to diagnose, but rather to support the body in addition to your primary vet. In fact, should your pet have a laceration, limp or lump, it is encouraged you seek out your primary vet prior to making an appointment for bodywork. Bodywork is also a contraindication for animals currently diagnosed with cancer due to the increase in blood flow associated with bodywork. Please alert your practitioner before your appointment if your pet has been diagnosed with cancer.
